Medical Information ManagerThe Medical Information Manager is responsible for delivering accurate, balanced, and evidence-based medical information to healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a scientific expert for complex medical inquiries, leads the development and maintenance of medical information content, and leverages customer insights to inform medical strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to and manage routine and complex medical inquiries across marketed and pipeline products, ensuring high-quality, compliant scientific communications.
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of medical information resources, including standard response letters, FAQs, and other scientific materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, and Commercial teams to support strategic initiatives and product lifecycle management.
- Provide medical review of promotional and educational materials to ensure scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Generate and communicate actionable insights from customer inquiries to inform medical strategy, content development, and evidence-generation activities.
- Lead medical information projects, drive process improvements, manage external vendors, and support operational excellence across global medical information functions.
- Represent Medical Information on cross-functional governance committees and provide mentorship and guidance to team members as needed.
- Support scientific exchange and customer engagement activities, including planning and staffing Medical Affairs congress booths.
Qualifications:- Degree in nursing, pharmacy or advanced degree in science/medicine (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred
- 5+ years' relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience
- Knowledge of biomedical literature review and publication search
- Knowledge of federal regulations regarding drug promotion and dissemination of medical and product information
