Full Job Description
Our team is dedicated to developing advanced medical technologies to address critical defense and civilian medical challenges, with a particular focus on improving austere and battlefield medicine. As part of our mission, we aim to create impactful solutions that enhance medical care in resource-limited and high-stakes environments, ultimately saving lives and improving outcomes. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in advancing this mission by applying cutting-edge signal/image processing, deep learning, and data analysis techniques to develop AI-enabled system prototypes. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and clinicians to design and evaluate innovative medical imaging devices and human performance technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of medical technology, contributing to solutions that address some of the most pressing challenges in defense and civilian healthcare. Requirements • M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant degree. Applicants with a B.S. and 5 or more years of relevant industry or research experience will also be considered. • Strong technical expertise in both the theory and practical applications of deep learning model development and deployment on operational systems • Expertise in biomedical signal and image processing • Proficiency in algorithm development (Python, MATLAB) for extraction, conditioning, and exploration of biomedical datasets • Ability to produce clear, concise, and professional project reports, as well as contributions to technical and scientific publications Preferences: • Experience in software development and deployment on edge platforms • Familiarity with medical ultrasound systems Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $116,400 - $140,000 Experienced Hiring Range: $116,400 - $182,200 Disclaimer: MIT Lincoln Laboratory provides a typical hiring range as a good faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to offer for this position at the time of posting.
