About the RoleThe Medical Education Manager for Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) plays a critical role in shaping and delivering high-quality clinical education that supports safe, effective, and confident use of Boston Scientific's neuromodulation therapies. This position is responsible for developing curriculum, coordinating training programs, and ensuring physicians and healthcare providers receive best-in-class education on DBS products, surgical techniques, and clinical workflows.
As a key member of the DBS team, this individual partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Reimbursement, Clinical, Regulatory, and physician faculty to execute national and local training programs that elevate clinical proficiency and drive therapy adoption.
This is a field-based, remote role. The ideal candidate resides near a major airport and is comfortable with significant travel.

Your responsibilities will include:Clinical Education Development- Assist in the design and development of core educational content covering DBS product knowledge, clinical evidence, surgical techniques, and therapy workflows.
- Ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements and follow internal review processes (including PSST).
- Maintain deep familiarity with DBS therapy, programming principles, and procedural best practices.
Training Program Coordination & Delivery- Coordinate and implement physician and HCP training programs, including national workshops, regional courses, and site-based education.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Reimbursement, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to plan classes, manage logistics, and support faculty engagement.
- Evaluate field needs and develop new learning programs or materials to address unmet educational gaps.
- Continue to build out the Fellowship Program track and offerings
- DBS Speaker Education- Foundational Forum training
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Support new product launches by integrating updated clinical data, product features, and procedural guidance into training programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Clinical teams to ensure educational content aligns with franchise strategy and reflects current evidence.
- Work with Reimbursement to incorporate coding, coverage, and payment education into relevant programs.
Market & Competitive Insight- Attend key industry conferences to stay current on DBS clinical trends, competitive technologies, and evolving best practices.
- Translate market insights into training priorities that support commercial and clinical objectives.
Compliance & Quality- Ensure all training activities adhere to quality policies, on-label promotion requirements, and Sunshine Act regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all educational programs.
Required qualifications:- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical education, clinical training, or a related role in medical device, pharma, or healthcare
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including some weekends.
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable in a clinical lab setting
Preferred qualifications:- Experience with Deep Brain Stimulation or other neuromodulation therapies.
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Strong customer relationship skills and ability to build rapport with surgeons, neurologists, and KOLs.
- Experience managing program budgets and logistics.
- Ability to lift and transport educational equipment (e.g., pelican cases with programmer supplies).
- Comfortable in a clinical lab setting
