NaphCare is seeking an experienced Medical Director (MD/DO) to provide clinical leadership at the Mobile County Jail in Mobile, Alabama. This opportunity is available Full-Time or PRN, offering flexibility for physicians seeking a long-term leadership role or an opportunity that complements their current practice.
Compensation: $166.25–$175.00/hour ($345,800–$364,000 annually for Full-Time)
As Medical Director, you will provide clinical oversight for a diverse and medically complex patient population while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will guide clinical decision-making, support advanced practice providers and nursing leadership, and promote high-quality, evidence-based care.

ResponsibilitiesAs the Medical Director, you will provide clinical oversight while delivering high-quality medical care and ensuring healthcare services meet all applicable clinical, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
