Medical Director Needed for PACE Clinic in North Little Rock, Arkansas
Services Include:
All primary and specialty physician services
Adult Day Health Center services
Social services and family caregiver support
Medical equipment
Recreational therapy
Physical and occupational therapy services
Personal care services in the home
Transportation to and from the center and medical appointments
Nutritional counseling
Home delivered meals

The Ideal Candidate will be a BE/BC Family, Internal Medicine or Geriatric trained physician. The position is employed by Arkansas Health Group, a subsidiary of Baptist Health.
Medical Director Duties Include:
Responsible for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes and the implementation/oversight of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement program
Provides primary medical care to the participants of the program
Ensures medical services are provided in compliance with PACE Federal Regulations
Ensures that Primary Care and Medical Department operates cost effectively
Interfaces with contracted medical providers when quality concerns arise
Serves as liaison with physician groups, specialists and hospitals to represent Complete Health with PACE
The physician would be housed at the primary PACE Clinic in North Little Rock and would occasionally need to go and do assessments of the patients in their homes or in the nursing home setting when necessary. There is also potential for coverage at our Hot Springs PACE clinic. The current Medical Director will oversee both locations. There will be Advanced Practitioner oversight.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with minimal rotating call expectations.
