About the role

As Medical Director, you will be the senior medical authority for Aika, responsible for clinical integrity, medical governance, and therapeutic strategy. You will ensure that the platform's recommendations and workflows are grounded in sound medical science, patient-centric design, and best practices in clinical development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide medical oversight and sign-off for Aika's core clinical functionalities, including protocol design support, eligibility logic, and endpoint frameworks.
  • Shape the medical and therapeutic strategy of the platform, prioritizing features and capabilities that address real-world challenges in drug and device development.
  • Lead medical input into product requirements, ensuring that AI models and workflows reflect current standards of care, clinical guidelines, and regulatory considerations.
  • Partner with Clinical, Product, and Commercial teams to engage with key opinion leaders, sponsors, and investigators, gathering insights to refine and expand Aika's medical value proposition.
  • Oversee the development of medically robust case studies, value narratives, and evidence dossiers for clients
  • Act as a key spokesperson for Biorce on medical and clinical topics, including participation in advisory boards, scientific conferences, and strategic partner discussions.
  • Support the preparation of peer-reviewed publications and thought-leadership pieces that highlight the medical impact and safety-conscious design of Aika.


Profile:

  • Medical degree or equivalent, with significant experience in clinical development, medical affairs, or related functions in pharma, biotech
  • Deep understanding of clinical trial methodology, endpoint selection, and benefit-risk assessment, ideally with exposure to multiple indications or therapeutic areas
  • Experience working with or overseeing digital health is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • High level of integrity and accountability and scientific communication
