Full Job Description

As Medical Director, you’ll serve as the clinical leader and medical voice of the hospital, helping guide medical quality, mentorship, hospital culture, and team development while still maintaining an active clinical caseload. In close partnership with the Practice Manager, you’ll help shape the future of the hospital, support operational excellence, and create an environment where exceptional medicine and teamwork thrive.

Clinic Snapshot

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team with a strong small animal foundation that also sees exotics, including reptiles, birds, and pocket pets. We have the tools, equipment, and experienced support staff to support exotic medicine, but exotics experience is not required for this role.

  • Practice type: GP/Exotics

  • Support staff ratio: 2:1

  • Case mix: Wellness, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, exotics

  • Technology & equipment: Digital X-ray, in-house labs, updated cloud-based PIMS
