Job Description:

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Medicaid Systems Enhancement Lead . Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Medicaid Systems Enhancement Lead, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of government healthcare information systems.

  • Serve as liaison to the customer for design, development, implementation, certification, as well as maintenance and modification activities related to the implementation of enhancements
  • Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless integration of services
  • Enhancement Managers will follow all agreed upon plans, procedures, and protocol guides
  • Project and scope coordination and management during design, development, integration and Certification
  • Project scheduling and provision of resources
  • Supervise project resources, including other Project Managers



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. You must have:

  • Four (4) years of experience managing multi-supplier projects or similar complex integration efforts
  • Two (2) years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit, Outcomes Based Certification, Streamlined Modular Certification, or other Certification efforts
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Seven Standards and Conditions
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification or equivalent

Timeline: This is a contingent job posting. Work is not expected to begin until December 2026 or later. 

The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
