Position Overview:
In this role, the manager will lead a dynamic team of engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration, and certification ofMechanical Systems and Power Systems. This position will manage a team of engineers working mechanicaland powersystems which includes butisntlimited toair stairs, fuels,cargo baggageloader,primarypower, and secondary power distribution system. This position requires focus on execution ofaircraftbuild and integration of Systems as the programproceedsintoaircrafttest. Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, encouraging professional development and an inclusive atmosphere that values diverse perspectives.
- Oversee planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while focusing on quality and safety.
- Partner with suppliers toestablishproject plans, manage execution, and ensure compliance with technical requirements, promoting teamwork and shared success.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate willbe requiredto work onsite at one of the listed locations.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functionalproject/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in the development, integration, and verification ofaircraftsystems.
- 2+ years of experience in leadership or management role.
- Experience withaircraftbuild.
- Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.
- Proventrack recordmanaging risks and issues to resolution.
- Proven ability to lead with the Boeing Values
- Demonstrated ability in team building, coaching, and employee development to enhance team performance and engagement.
- Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
