Full Job Description
Mechanical Project Manager / Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine and understand the specifications of the project.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Hire staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
Evaluate progress and document as necessary.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the HVAC/Mechanical field (Required)
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Superintendent
Strong knowledge of construction procedures, material, and project management principles
Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities
A team player with leadership abilities.
