Building Services team in either our
Westwood, Woburn, or Westfield, MA offices, where you'll play a key role in delivering vital infrastructure projects across the Northeast. Our MEP Team and ProjectsOur MEP team designs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a wide range of building projects, including municipal, education, water and wastewater, industrial, commercial, and community-focused facilities. The team works closely with architects, engineers, and owners from early planning through design and construction, with a focus on practical solutions, energy efficiency, system reliability, and long-term building performance.
Responsibilities, Requirements, and Total RewardsWhat You'll Be DoingAs a valuable part of our
MEP Team, a
Project Manager will support a variety of projects with responsibilities such as:
- Manage MEP engineering projects for commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, healthcare, education, and transportation clients
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of design and construction
- Serve as the primary client contact and build long-term client relationships
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and quality control
- Coordinate closely with architects, owners, contractors, and internal technical teams
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and building systems design projects
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development
- Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals
What You'll Need - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive MEP engineering and project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing complex building systems projects
- Strong understanding of building codes, energy standards, and construction practices
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering and design software
Preferred Requirements- Experience with sustainable design and energy-efficient building systems
- Familiarity with commissioning, facility assessments, and retrofit projects
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM coordination processes
- Existing client relationships within the Northeast market
- Prior consulting engineering experience preferred
