Job Summary:
Loenbro is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, layout, and analysis of piping systems in various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations while optimizing cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Develop detailed piping designs, specifications, and layouts using advanced engineering software and tools.
  • Conduct stress analysis and flexibility evaluations to ensure the integrity of piping systems under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to integrate piping designs with other project components.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation to ensure adherence to project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
  • Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment activities to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in piping design and engineering in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, or power generation preferred, not required.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and pipe stress analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, ANSYS).
  • Strong understanding of relevant piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
