Due to increasing demand for decarbonization expertise, we are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with Thermal Energy Network (TEN) expertise to join our Energy and Decarbonization Group in our Denver, CO office.
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering analysis and associated designs specific to both existing building / campus and new construction projects. Please have a thorough understanding of building energy and distribution systems, including the ability to analyze existing and design new district energy systems, central plants, and thermal energy networks (including geothermal TENs) for large scale projects. As a part of Dewberry’s Energy and Decarbonization group you will work with a team of specialized engineers on a variety of private, public, and federal projects. This individual will work closely with energy engineers in addition to other mechanical, electrical, plumbing/fire protection, civil, structural, architecture, and other disciplines to provide full-range services to our local, regional, and national clients. This role reports to the Discipline Manager.
Key Required Skills:

Responsibilities
The Mechanical Project Engineer would be expected to provide the following services to effectively and successfully complete projects.
The projected range for this position is $136,850 to $195,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
