Project Summary This position supports the Emergency Post-Hurricane Lowell Facility Damage Assessment at PMRF Barking Sands, and several remote sites in Kauai. Operating under a NAVFAC Pacific Command solicitation, the purpose of this immediate-action contract phase is to evaluate damage from Hurricane Lowell with 92 MPH gusts and 17 inches of rain across multiple facilities, and miles of fencing. On-ground assessment duration is short: deployment imminent.
Special conditions include strict federal base access approvals (DBIDS), entirely contractor-furnished logistics (post-storm environment), and air-freighted field operations with no initial barge dependencies.

Key Responsibilities - Deploys as a Tier 2 roving specialist to evaluate large-scale facility HVAC infrastructure, mechanical equipment rooms, and ventilation duct integrity.
- Assesses post-storm facility moisture loads and structural psychrometrics.
- Develops quantified emergency drying scopes, specifying required dehumidification equipment quantities and estimated drying durations per building.
Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong background working with commercial building mechanical plants, complex HVAC infrastructure, humidity controls, and post-flood/post-hurricane facility building drying logistics.
