π What You'll DoAs a Water Treatment Mechanical Estimator, you'll be the go-to expert for reviewing project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates. The Estimator will develop and maintain strategic relationships with engineering and architectural firms, collaborating closely to promote and demonstrate the value and benefits of Chem-Aqua's water treatment solutions.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for mechanical construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to accurately define project scope, requirements, and execution strategies.
Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and design documents to identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
π‘ Solicit, evaluate, and incorporate vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure pricing accuracy and project feasibility.
Assess material and equipment requirements, recommending cost-effective solutions that align with project specifications and client expectations.
Prepare and submit complete bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project requirements and submission deadlines.
π Conduct risk assessments to identify potential cost, schedule, and operational impacts, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
π‘ Continuously evaluate estimating processes, market trends, and industry best practices to improve estimate accuracy, operational efficiency, and bid competitiveness.
π What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
