Job Title: Mechanical Engineer PE I

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remote
Overview The Mechanical Engineer PE I applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
Responsibilities - Sign and seal engineering documents.
- Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems.
- Improve and maintain current systems or create new projects.
- Design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field, and manage projects.
- Apply engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
- Perform work under general supervision.
- Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Travel 5-10% of the time to job site(s) or office location.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.
- Climb stairs, move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Operate machinery and power tools.
- Work outdoors in elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and wind.
- Work in noisy environments.
- Perform light to heavy work, including adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Professional Engineer License (PE).
- 4-6 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Mathematic and computer skills.
- Technical expertise.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to tackle various ongoing projects.
