Working Hours: M-F 9-5 with some flexibility of working OT
In office team about 10-20 people. Open office environment with cubicles.
The R&D Engineer III will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, sales, vendors, and product management teams. Responsibilities include part design, 3D CAD modeling, component and material selection, qualification of new materials and components, assembly design, and engineering documentation. This role will support execution against the product roadmap established by product management to help drive growth and expansion of product lines through new product innovation, value engineering, sustaining engineering, and product improvement.
Some lab work may be required. Willingness to wear PPE and perform hands on work.
Requirements; Bachelor's degree in Mechancial Engineering (or equivalent) plus 5-10 years experience in a mechancial engineering / research & development capacity. Background in water or electrochemistry is very helpful. Note: This is a one-year temporary assignment based out of our Tewksbury, MA office/lab. Good collaborative communication.
