JOB SUMMARY
Design and implement world-class manufacturing solutions that transition cutting-edge robotics products from concept to production at scale, driving quality excellence across global supply chains.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Apply Design for X (DFX) principles to transition autonomous robotic solutions and mechatronic systems from design to production
• Develop and qualify suppliers while managing product lifecycle changes across complex global supply chains
• Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects and drive technical root cause analysis for supplier defects
• Design and develop manufacturing test solutions for consumer electronics and robotics systems
• Implement best-in-class manufacturing systems for scalability, focusing on gearbox assembly, stator winding, rotor manufacturing, and motor integration
• Collaborate with design teams globally to influence product designs and ensure manufacturability at scale

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of innovation and production, transforming ambitious robotics designs into manufacturable products. You'll partner with cross-functional teams across globally, from mechanical and electrical engineers to supply chain partners, ensuring our next-generation robotics systems meet the highest quality standards.
Your day might include:
• Reviewing design specifications with product teams and providing DFX feedback to optimize manufacturability
• Conducting supplier assessments and capability studies at contract manufacturer facilities
• Leading failure analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions for quality issues
• Developing test fixtures and validation protocols for new product introductions
• Collaborating with international teams across Seattle, Asia, and Europe on NPI activities
You'll navigate ambiguous technical challenges in a fast-paced, iterative environment, applying state-of-the-art technologies to solve extreme-scale problems. This role requires occasional travel to development sites and supplier locations for hands-on problem solving.
