Key Responsibilities- Support manufacturing operations through process improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain mechanical components, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Interpret and apply GD&T principles in support of product and manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze production and process data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
- Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Provide hands-on support for manufacturing processes, equipment, and assembly operations.
- Assist with new product introduction and transition into production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software.
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated competency with hand tools and mechanical systems.
- Experience working in a machine shop, prototype shop, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Internship, co-op, or professional experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with machining, assembly, fabrication, or precision manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting high-mix or high-volume production environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process development and production support.
- Interest in the firearms industry and firearm design/manufacturing processes.
