DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate building mechanical systems, prepare construction documents, and serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with critical thinking, collaboration, and sound engineering judgment to develop efficient, constructable, and code-compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities- Design mechanical building systems, including HVAC equipment, ductwork, hydronic piping, controls, and associated systems.
- Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
- Direct and mentor designers in the development of mechanical system designs and construction documents.
- Perform engineering calculations and evaluations for system and equipment design.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations and select mechanical equipment.
- Develop construction drawings, details, specifications, and other project deliverables.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Apply applicable mechanical codes and standards, including ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 170, ASHRAE 62.1, NFPA 90A, and applicable building and mechanical codes.
- Perform field investigations and construction site visits.
- Perform life-cycle cost analyses and other technical evaluations as required to support design decisions.
- Review product data submittals, respond to RFIs, and perform other construction-period services.
- Direct activities to help ensure construction, installation, and operational testing conform to the design documents and project requirements.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and technical support to designers and junior staff.
Healthcare experience is required.- Computer Skills: Revit, Auto CAD MEP, MS Office Suite, TRACE or similar load-calculation software
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: Minimum four years of related experience as a licensed professional.
Licenses/Certifications:- Current PE License required.
- NCEES Record preferred.
- CEM, LEED, HFDP, HBDP, CPD or other relevant professional certification preferred.
Travel: up to 20% depending on project

Pay Range $100,000.00 Annually to $130,000.00 Annually
