Full Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Developer/Engineer to join our team! This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX site.

This role focuses on sustaining existing products, ensuring compliance, resolving field and manufacturing issues, and driving reliability and cost improvements.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Investigate field, manufacturing, and supplier issues; perform root cause and failure analysis using test data and inspections; and implement corrective actions to improve product performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Create and manage ECO/ECN changes, evaluate modifications using standard processes (8D, PPAP, deviations), ensure compliance with applicable UL standards and product certifications, and maintain BOMs and product data within SAP and PLM systems.
  • Drive cost reduction, product robustness, and value engineering initiatives by leveraging field and manufacturing feedback to improve product performance, quality, and overall lifecycle value.
  • Resolve production and supplier-related issues while ensuring designs are manufacturable and aligned with established manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Support and interpret thermal and electrical testing, partnering with test laboratories to validate design changes and ensure product performance and compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain and update 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings in CREO, implementing engineering changes in CAD while ensuring alignment with BOMs and product definitions.
  • Use digital tools and AI-assisted analysis to identify trends, support root cause analysis, and improve engineering efficiency

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in product, sustaining, or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience using 3D modeling software for engineering drawings.
  • Experience managing bills of materials (BOMs) in SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Experience supporting engineering change processes and root cause analysis.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product, sustaining, or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience using CREO
  • Experience with busway, bus plugs, panelboards, switchboards, or similar equipment
  • Knowledge of related product standards - UL857, UL67, UL891, and NEC
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes and electrical testing

The pay range for this position is $83,966 - $143,942 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
