MechanicalContract Engineer willperform a full range of engineering tasksfocusingoncompletingspecial requestworkfor the Application Engineering team. Additional responsibilities includecreating documentation for the work andsupportingother departments as needed. Whatyou willdo: SupportApplicationEngineersand sales teams by providing guidance and executing special requests Prepare non-standard sketches and drawings and prepare design documents Responsible for technical direction to other departments on specific work assignments. Provide limited training to others in areas of technical and practical knowledge Work independently with minimal direction. Independently develops approach to solutions and leads in process improvement. Develop technical documents to supportteams within the business Assist Airside Technical Service with field application issues as necessary Support the factorywithissuesthat mayarisefromcompletedspecial request work Review and analyzeengineering rules and documents as necessary Follow codes and procedures related to job Adhereto the Company27s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards Travel Requirements Occasional travel for training, to support other JCI facilities, to visit job sites, or to support the field, is required, up to 10% What we look for To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
