Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company's truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Job Summary

The MRO Manager coordinates activity between Dynacraft Operations, Materials, Business Development, and Corporate Purchasing. This position manages the performance, commercial relationships, and new business initiatives of MSS (Managed Services Supplier) providers while overseeing the non-Corporate managed supply base. The role reports to the Director of Materials and is based in McKinney, TX or Louisville, KY, operating Monday through Friday.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial relationships with MSS providers across both Dynacraft locations, partnering with cross-functional teams to improve material handling and line-side presentation
  • Develop and submit RFQs to support optimized sourcing initiatives
  • Coordinate supplier selection with Corporate Purchasing and Supplier Quality teams
  • Oversee commercial relationships with non-Corporate managed suppliers
  • Collaborate with MSS to improve KPIs and drive cost reduction opportunities
  • Develop cost justifications and align with plant accounting on internal cost assessments
  • Lead MSS performance improvements and drive corrective actions as needed
  • Communicate production plans and schedule changes to MSS suppliers
  • Lead meetings and present to suppliers, plant, and division leadership
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with MSS and non-Corporate suppliers
  • Partner with Materials and Quality teams to support supply chain strategies
  • Manage MRO buyers to ensure sourcing aligns with division policies


Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate supplier performance, assess sourcing options, and make data-driven decisions
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Excellence in both written documentation and verbal presentations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required; negotiation experience a plus
  • Project Management experience participating in or managing projects
  • Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise employees
  • Thorough understanding of production facilities, assembly, and distribution operations
  • SAP experience preferred


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, or another appropriate field is required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Six Sigma Training desired
