As such, we are looking for a Materials Program Manager who has strong relevant experience to own planning and material readiness in this field while having the analytical mindset, creativity, and vision to tackle the challenges in the present and future for DoorDash Labs. This is a highly visible role where the Materials Program Manager is expected to work hands-on with cross-functional teams to build supply chain models for CTB ("clear to build"), provide clear visibility on our sourcing strategies, and actualize data in our supplier, manufacturing, and deployment sites as we drive towards commercial success for the entire organization.
The Materials Program Manager will report to the Director of Hardware and Manufacturing Strategic Sourcing on our Sourcing team in our Autonomy organization.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Build CTB for a wide breadth of commodities from fasteners all the way to finished robots at the system level.
- Create demand and supply plan models and track performance of sourcing strategies to monitor and improve effectiveness of supply chain.
- Dive deep into issues, breakdown problems, and drive the team towards results
- Actualize data across our sites for material readiness, inventory management, and excess & obsolescence and provide strategic recommendations as our needs evolve.
- Work hands-on and support a world-class team of engineers and business leaders
We're excited about you because...- You have 7+ years of materials readiness experience in consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and or AI projects.
- You have MBA or Masters in an analytical field with significant experience in CTB with vendors in the consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, autonomy, and/or AI space.
- You have strong communication and presentations skills to lead and organize efforts
- You have sharp attention to detail and believe no task is too big or too small
CompensationThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
$130,600-$192,000 USD
