Job Title: Materials Manager

The Impact You'll Make

As a Materials Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials from receiving through production and outbound distribution at our Louisville manufacturing site. Your leadership will directly support safety, operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery for our customers.

In this role, you will lead warehouse, inventory, and internal logistics operations while developing a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement. By optimizing material flow and inventory management, you will help enable efficient manufacturing operations and support business growth.

You will also be a key driver of lean thinking and operational excellence, creating a culture where safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead warehouse, inventory, receiving, and internal logistics operations to ensure materials are available when needed and delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and coach team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through effective warehouse management practices, cycle counting, and strong inventory controls.
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to improve material flow, reduce disruptions, and support on-time customer delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance across warehouse operations.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualificiations:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years Warehouse Managing experience.
  • Axapta and SAP experience a plus
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members, and other departments of the organization.
  • Problem solver, decisive, results oriented and high sense of urgency.
