About the Role:

We are seeking a Materials Manager to lead and enhance our supply chain, inventory management, and logistics operations at our El Paso manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring material availability, production efficiency, and on-time delivery to meet customer demands.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and oversee master production schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Manage raw material availability and proactively adjust production needs to meet demand.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize capacity planning and minimize costs.
  • Lead inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and demand forecasting.
  • Oversee excess and obsolete inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate movement and scheduling of materials across internal and external processing locations.
  • Manage inbound and outbound transportation in alignment with company logistics policies.
  • Ensure warehouse operations have the necessary resources to execute efficiently and safely.
  • Partner with supplier quality teams to drive compliance and improve logistics processes.
  • Optimize supplier schedules to improve production flow and cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, address escalations, and maintain smooth material flow.
  • Negotiate and manage consignment agreements and blanket purchase orders for critical materials.
  • Champion the ADMS Material Control Pillar, driving lean transformation and supply chain maturity.
  • Lead cost-reduction projects and implement best practices in materials management.
  • Develop, mentor, and build a high-performing team, ensuring future leadership growth.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An Associate degree and/or additional years of experience is also acceptable.
  • 4-6 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or production environments.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Preferred: APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) and experience in inventory forecasting and production scheduling.
