Materials Management Principal HTS

As a Materials Management Principal HTS here at Honeywell, you will serve as a subject matter expert in materials management, driving best practices and strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain and inventory processes. You will leverage your deep expertise to influence decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support business objectives within the Industrial Automation sector.

You will report directly to our Supply Chain Director on a hybrid schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by enhancing materials management strategies that reduce costs, improve inventory accuracy, and ensure timely availability of materials critical to manufacturing and operations. Your expertise will help Honeywell maintain competitive advantage and operational excellence in the Industrial Automation market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise in materials management, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and governance standards.
  • Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve inventory strategies, procurement processes, and supply chain workflows to enhance operational efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics, to drive alignment and execute effective materials planning strategies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions to address complex materials management challenges and support business objectives.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to support annual planning, operational targets, and executive leadership reporting.
  • Govern and maintain master data integrity in accordance with Global Data Management (GDM) standards across all sites while driving enhancements to SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) processes.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Commercial teams to align material strategies with demand driven approach, business priorities, and operational requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop planning teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive organizational excellence through effective change management, process standardization, and the deployment of best-in-class planning practices.
  • Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as required to support business and operational objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5 years of experience in materials management within industrial or manufacturing environments, demonstrating strong expertise in inventory control and supply chain optimization.
  • 5 years in materials planning systems and ERP software to analyze and manage inventory and procurement processes effectively.
  • 5 years of experience using supply chain workflows, procurement strategies, and regulatory compliance related to materials handling.
  • 3 years of leading cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials management.

  • DDMRP experience and implementation

The annual base salary range for this position is $142,000-$182,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate'swork experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
