A Snapshot of Your Day

The Materials Engineer in the innovation organization will be working in a highly motivated, experienced and interdisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, and testing new materials and improve existing materials for various applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including commercial leads, engineering, and end customers. Responsibilities include strong alignment of customer needs and business objectives to ensure that products fit into overall strategy and roadmap. The role involves technical support for supplier and customer meetings, managing R&D and innovation projects . The position requires a strategic thinker who will work closely with stakeholders in developing and shaping our products and services.

  • Work involves understanding the properties of different materials and how they can be used effectively in various applications.
  • Conduct tests on materials to evaluate their properties, performance, and durability. Analyze test results to make recommendations for material selection and usage.

  • Documentation for designs, specifications, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred) in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in materials testing and analysis techniques
