Material Management Specialist to join its supply chain/procurement team in Canada to support general material management functions across the Power sector, working within Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and EPCM portfolios throughout North America. The role is office based (hybrid) in
Vancouver, British Columbia or
Calgary, Alberta.Your roleReporting to the Supply Chain Specialist - Team Lead within the supply chain/procurement team, duties include:
- Manage and expedite standard materials in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
- Collaborate and interface with key stakeholders across internal and external teams, including Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Construction Management, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with Receiving and Warehouse teams to ensure all materials are delivered with proper documentation and manage returns or discrepancies as required.
- Act a subject matter expert, overseeing the full end-to-end supply chain lifecycle and providing guidance and support to project teams on material management practices.
- Lead material management meetings and deliver expediting reports to key stakeholders, providing timely updates on material status and associated supply chain risks.
About you- 3-5 years of related experience in purchasing, expediting, or material management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills are an asset.
- Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of organization with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English, proficiency in French is considered an asset.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between $80,700 - $100,000 CAD annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
