Job Description

Position Summary:

Schedules, plans, and coordinates flow of work within or between departments to expedite production by performing the following duties:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reviews master production schedule and job orders. Updates status as needed.
  • Oversee, manage, and support front end and back-end planners to coordinate status and update status in ERP (Syteline) system.
  • Generates metrics for production.
  • Coordinates all outside vendor requirements, including obtaining prices, writing purchase orders, follow up and final receipt of parts. Maintains performance metrics and updates cost sheets.
  • Maintains Kan ban for consignment jobs.
  • Assists with Sales requests for milestone plans and follow up on expedite items.
  • Generates and analyses various status reports to ensure work is proceeding according to plan.
  • Follow up on MRR actions including submittals with customers.
  • Updates ship plan and lead daily meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of supervisors and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • 3-5 years related experience training in master scheduling for an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $97000 to $110000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
