Full Job Description

We are seeking a Master Scheduler to join our manufacturing team onsite in Sylmar, CA. In this role, you will develop and maintain production schedules, optimize capacity, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure material and production readiness, and drive on-time delivery performance. This role reports to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain rolling production schedules (e.g., 12–16 weeks).

  • Translate sales forecasts and firm customer orders into finite-capacity schedules.

  • Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and run "what-if" scenarios.

  • Balance loads and set precise production time fences to maximize resource utilization.

  • Partner with Procurement for material availability, Production for scheduling feasibility, and Sales to provide accurate delivery lead times.

  • Monitor and improve critical supply chain metrics, such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF), schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.

  • Adjust schedules in response to unforeseen events (e.g., material delays, equipment breakdowns) and develop proactive recovery

  • Ensure high data integrity and hygiene within enterprise planning systems (Bills of Materials, lead times, planning parameters).

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$135,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary.
