Full Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Master Scheduler, you are responsible for developing and maintaining numerous comprehensive schedules in support of the NDS suite of programs that integrate all activities required to successfully execute our programs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that programs are completed on time and within budget and works closely with various internal partners to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the program lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and manage integrated master schedules for all assigned programs, considering dependencies, constraints, and resource availability.
• Collaborate with program managers, department heads, and stakeholders to understand program requirements, objectives, and milestones.
• Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the schedule, and develop mitigation plans in coordination with the Program Managers.
• Regularly update and maintain the master schedules by incorporating changes, status updates, and adjustments as necessary.
• Monitor program progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues.
• Conduct regular meetings and discussions with program teams to review and analyze task status, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.
• Provide accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate program status, key metrics, and performance indicators to management and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Train and mentor program IPT team members on best practices for schedule management and adherence.
• Collaborate with procurement and resource management teams to ensure alignment between the schedule and resource allocation.

This role requires collaboration across internal teams.

LEVEL OF DECISION MAKING
This position requires autonomous decision-making capabilities when working with the internal program IPT teams. Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Work is checked through consultation and agreement with department supervision.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years with a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or a related field, or 5-7 years relevant work experience
• Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or similar role, preferably in a program or project-based environment.
• Proficient in the use of program management software such as Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of program management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to gain BATF Clearance

COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple, but accurate correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and contractual instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete concepts.
• Must be skilled in the use of standard MS Office products, including MS Project.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Full-time on-site position.
• This position may require travel on an as-needed basis
