Full Job Description
Master Scheduler

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance. This role integrates daily sales orders, manages production forecasts, oversees consignment and subcontracting accounts, and provides cross-site scheduling support. The Master Scheduler works closely with operations, customer service, sales, and leadership to balance demand, capacity, and inventory while driving overall scheduling efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet OTIF performance goals.
  • Align all production assets and capacity to customer demand, material availability, and operational priorities.
  • Pull and process daily sales orders from LN to ensure accurate incorporation into the schedule.
  • Release work orders/jobs to production and ensure timely flow through all manufacturing stages.
  • Manage short- and long-term forecasts for the Op Net Line, adjusting plans as demand fluctuates.
  • Maintain safety stock levels for multiple customers, ensuring proper inventory coverage while minimizing excess.
  • Oversee all customer consignment accounts, ensuring accurate replenishment and documentation.
  • Manage subcontracting relationships, including scheduling, communication, and coordination of outsourced production.
  • Lead the daily production planning meeting, communicating schedule changes, constraints, and priorities.
  • Partner with customer service and sales to ensure alignment between customer expectations and production capabilities.
  • Participate in TEAMS groups and cross-functional meetings to support broader operational initiatives.
  • Respond to off-hours communications regarding urgent scheduling changes or production needs.
  • Provide scheduling support to additional netting plants, including PTO coverage and backup planning support.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain operations (manufacturing strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems; experience with LN is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data and forecasting models.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across operations, sales, and customer service.
