Schedule: This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, which provides employees with one day off every other week by working 80 hours across nine workdays in a two-week pay period.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to join our team and play a critical role in planning, integrating, and monitoring schedules for major and strategic programs. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain integrated project schedules, assess performance, identify risks, and provide the insights needed to support successful program execution.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for major and strategic programs
  • Support program execution by tracking milestones, dependencies, critical path, and schedule performance
  • Partner with Program Management, Project Management, Finance, and cross-functional teams to ensure plans are executable and aligned with cost, schedule, and technical requirements
  • Support the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource-loaded schedules, and program planning inputs
  • Analyze schedule trends, variances, and earned value performance, and provide regular status updates and reporting
  • Identify schedule risks and support recovery planning and mitigation strategies
  • Review proposed changes and assess schedule impacts related to design, subcontractor, and vendor activities
  • Support proposal activities and planning efforts for new business opportunities
  • Communicate schedule performance, risks, and recommendations clearly to project teams and leadership
  • May provide guidance or leadership to junior scheduling or program analyst team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of program planning and scheduling experience
  • Production environment experience is preferred
  • Experience resource loading schedules with personnel and hardware resources is a plus
  • Strong experience developing and managing schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM/EVMS)
  • Experience supporting project or program teams in a complex environment
  • Strong schedule analysis and critical path analysis experience
  • Familiarity with PMI principles and project scheduling best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

The salary range for this position is ($101,098 - $131,427/year). This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees, as applicable).
