As a Master Scheduler, you will oversee the development and management of detailed schedules that drive program execution across engineering, operations, and production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources, track progress, resolve conflicts, and support decision-making that ensures on-time delivery of critical space and launch hardware. You will play a central role in maintaining schedule integrity, improving planning processes, and supporting organizational transparency and coordination.
Responsibilities- Develops and maintains master schedules for programs and operations to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and resource availability.
- Coordinates scheduling activities with project managers, department leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Monitors progress against established milestones and deliverables, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Identifies scheduling risks and constraints and develops mitigation strategies.
- Evaluates and improves scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provides schedule updates, reporting metrics, trends, and performance insights to stakeholders.
- Facilitates communication among cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure schedule alignment.
- Provides training, guidance, and support on scheduling tools, practices, and techniques.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination in a complex environment.
- Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- High attention to detail in capturing dependencies, constraints, and milestones.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt schedules and resource plans as priorities evolve.
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree or professional certification such as PMP or APICS.
