Full Job Description
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the master production schedule to ensure efficient utilization of resources, on-time delivery, and alignment with customer demand. This role works cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales to balance demand and supply while minimizing cost and maximizing service levels.

With oversight of the master scheduling, capacity planning, and schedule execution, the successful candidate will effectively manage the scheduling of production for each shop area as required. Maintaining an effective and achievable plan integrating firm orders and SIOP plans and communicating across the organization to ensure alignment are core responsibilities

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

- Develop, maintain, and communicate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for multiple production lines based on customer demand forecasts and sales orders.
- Balance production capacity, material availability, and labor resources to meet delivery commitments.
- Analyze demand forecasts and collaborate with Sales/Operations Planning (SIOP) to align production plans.
- Provide support for Planning team to adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, or production disruptions.
- Coordinate with Materials Management to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

- Work closely with production teams to prioritize work orders and resolve scheduling conflicts.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and revenue targets.

- Identify risks to the schedule and proactively develop mitigation plans. Lead or support continuous improvement and lean initiatives focused on planning accuracy, process efficiency, and cost reduction.

- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems to support planning activities. Communicate schedule changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

- Support new product introductions by integrating them into the production schedule.
- Lead cross-functional meetings such as S&OP, production review, and capacity planning sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree and/or ASCM/APICS CPIM,CSCP Certification with four (4) to six (6) years experience

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, forecasting tools)
