SUMMARYThe Master Scheduler develops the master schedule, balances production capacity, resources, and inventory for one or more business units. You will act as a liaison between Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development, and Program Management developing the master schedule and capacity planning. The role reports to the Director of Operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO - Coordinate and manage daily schedules for team members, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to deadlines
- Develops, publishes, and maintains the master production schedule, balancing inventory, resources, and capacity planning
- Create & maintain a rolling 3-month master production plan for designated products. Utilize the production capacity, taking into consideration the sales forecast, historical sales, product availability, and new business opportunity
- Analyze and identify risks associated with the options built into the master production plan, including manufacturing lead times
- Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates
- Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility
- Monitor actual output versus the master production plan. Identify gaps and drive solutions
- Coordinate between planners and production departments
- Leads cross-functional forecasting and planning across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, and other related departments
- Support the SIOP process meetings to review and performance against schedule, inventory strategy, supply plan to meet demand, and resource implications; update master production plan as necessary
- Timely reporting of key metrics
- Develop strategies and work with the operations team on capacity and equipment utilization
- Document key information for analysis which includes downtime, peak production, inventory, and scheduling accuracy
- Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues to root cause and implement corrective actions
- Performs other related duties, as required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
- Preferred Experience: 6 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred Experience: 3 or more years of experience with EPICOR ERP software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
