DutiesHelp
- Responsible for the overall development, coordination, and management of the installation's Real Property Master Plan. Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies into the master planning process.
- Coordinates the planning, design, cost, engineering, construction, and environmental restoration for projects of substantial scope and complexity.
- Exercises responsibility for the overall management of the installations Master Plan: develops, analyzes, determines and prepares necessary solutions to correct real property deficiencies.
- Serves as the technical advisor and liaison for all matters applicable to master planning.
- Ensures mobilization, peacetime, and emergency plans are properly integrated with the Master Plan through scheduled meetings with Directors and assigned action officers.
- Administers the Military Construction Army (MCA) and Restoration and Modernization programs for the installation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; coordinating the development and management of real property master plans; and preparing project papers and staff reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)

- Position may be filled as a Term Appointment not to exceed (NTE) 2 years. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. As a Term employee, you are eligible for coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, the Federal Employees Group Life Insurance Program, and the Federal Employees Retirement System, Thrift Savings Plan and annual/sick leave.
- Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
