Position OverviewThis field-based role will perform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and electrical work associated with HVAC installations. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades, including panels, service changes, rewiring, and EV chargers.
- Complete electrical work associated with HVAC installations, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, and zoning systems.
- Install conduit, MC cabling, motor starters, control devices, and other electrical components.
- Work with 480/277V and 240/208/120V systems.
- Read blueprints and electrical diagrams and apply NEC and Colorado electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment.
- Procure materials needed to complete assigned projects.
- Mentor and oversee apprentice and journeyman electricians as needed.
- Partner with dispatch, service, and installation teams to complete jobs efficiently.
- Provide professional, 5-star service and build trust with homeowners.
Qualifications:- Active Colorado Master Electrician License - Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
- Residential electrical experience required; HVAC-related experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting, and inspections.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Basic understanding of VFDs, motor starters, and control systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead/mentor team members.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using tablets and digital tools in the field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Environment: Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
