Job: Master Electrician

Location: Lenexa, KS
We're looking for a Master Electrician to join our growing Services Group. This role is key to supporting project execution by installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial construction environments. You'll ensure jobsite safety, maintain quality standards, troubleshoot electrical issues, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute electrical tasks involving materials, components, equipment, systems, installation methods, safety procedures, blueprint interpretation, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.
  • Perform electrical tasks independently, including conduit bending, wire pulling, threading, wire terminations, and troubleshooting.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for trade assignments.
  • Ensure proper use and care of company equipment and materials.
  • Prepare daily and weekly field reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes and company safety policies.
  • Support project execution and closeout activities as assigned.
  • Commercial and industrial experience is a plus.
What You Bring
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience through on-the-job training or successful completion of an electrical apprentice program.
  • Current and valid driver's license in state of residence.
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute project scope/specs from blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently on various electrical project tasks.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, squat, crawl, and maintain balance.
  • Comfort working on active construction sites and using ladders, scaffolds, or stairs.
Travel

This position requires occasional overnight travel with weekend trips home.
