About the Role:As a Mass Tort Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a complex mass tort docket while working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. This role requires strong legal acumen, excellent case management skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all phases of a mass tort docket, from intake through resolution
- Track and meet critical litigation deadlines
- Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal assistants supporting your docket
- Follow and improve upon existing case management processes and procedures
- Maintain regular contact with clients to provide case updates and resolve issues
- Analyze medical records and relevant case documents
- Review all pleadings, motions, and filings before submission to the court or opposing counsel
- Collaborate with other law firms and stakeholders involved in litigation
- Identify trends within your docket and recommend process improvements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance case outcomes and efficiency
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the Texas State Bar
- 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on mass torts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment

Work Hours:This is a full-time, in-office position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an expectation of a 50-hour workweek.
