Partner with the best 

As a Marketing and Quality Assurance Specialist – Advanced Engineering, you are working at the intersection of marketing, systems, and quality. You are developing technical marketing materials for consulting engineering services and software solutions while supporting industry events, case studies, and external communications. You are also managing document control processes, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting technical writing and editing activities. You are collaborating with engineering leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and impactful content and processes. 

 

As a Marketing and Quality Assurance Specialist, you are responsible for: 

Marketing Specialist Responsibilities 

  • Driving marketing strategies for Advanced Engineering services and software aligned with business objectives. 

  • Partnering with team leaders and SMEs to develop high-quality marketing materials and value-driven messaging. 

  • Editing and co-writing technical content includes white papers, abstracts, newsletters, and case studies. 

  • Reviewing marketing communications and social media content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality. 

  • Supporting development and execution of industry symposiums, client events, and conferences. 

  • Coordinating with global and regional marketing teams to support campaigns and initiatives. 

 
Quality Assurance Responsibilities 

  • Onboarding and training users on document control processes and quality compliance standards. 

  • Managing and improving document workflows, metadata accuracy, and audit readiness processes. 

  • Ensuring deliverables meet quality requirements, including reviews, approvals, version control, and archiving. 

  • Preparing and reviewing documents for external submission, ensuring formatting and quality compliance.

  • Collaborating with global quality teams tomaintaintemplates, procedures, and workflows.

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (preferred). 

  • Have 3–10 years of experience in technical marketing, preferably within engineering consulting or industrial software. 

  • Have experience marketing or supporting engineering software solutions and consulting services. 

  • Have demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives. 

  • Have the ability to translate complex engineering solutions into clear, compelling marketing content.

  • Have strong technical editing skills and excellent command of the English language. 

  • Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools. 

  • Have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. 

  • Have strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $87,870.00 - $170,670.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the pay range for this position during the hiring process.

You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level, and specific requirements of each of these plans.

You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Short-term incentive plan applicable for the above position.  The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.

This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package, which can be found , and is further eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans or policies.
