Job Summary:

Clarusis seeking a Marketing Operations Strategist to define, build, and scale the marketing function and demand generation engine for a fast-growing animal health technology business. This position carries broad functional ownership, high autonomy, and accountability for translating company strategy into integrated marketing programs that materially influence pipeline, revenue growth, market position, and customer adoption.

The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with animal health or related healthcare technology markets; at least seven years of progressive marketing experience; and demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives with measurable commercial outcomes. This leader will operate as a senior functional expert and strategic business partner, setting direction, influencing executive stakeholders, making resource tradeoff decisions, and personally advancing high-priority work in a growth-stage environment.

  • Set the overall marketing strategy and annual operating plan for Clarus, including demand generation, positioning, lifecycle marketing, partner marketing, events, content, and sales enablement.a0

  • Build, lead, and scale the marketing organization over time, including talent planning, hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability development to support business growth and evolving commercial priorities.a0

  • Own marketing contribution to pipeline, customer acquisition, retention, expansion, and revenue performance, with clear accountability for funnel health, attribution, campaign ROI, and investment prioritization.a0

  • Own the annual marketing budget, investment strategy, forecasting process, and resource allocation decisions, ensuring effective deployment of spend and measurable business return. Translate company strategy and market insight into differentiated value propositions, audience segmentation, messaging architecture, and go-to-market priorities for veterinary practices, corporate groups, pet insurance partners, and animal health stakeholders.a0

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with sales, product management, customer success, finance, partnerships, and executive leadership, aligning marketing programs to commercial priorities and market opportunities.a0

  • Partner with executive leadership on annual operating planning, growth strategy, market expansion opportunities, and commercial prioritization, providing marketing and market perspectives that influence company direction.   • Background in animal health, pet insurance, healthcare technology, life sciences, financial technology, SaaS, or another complex B2B market with multiple stakeholder audiences.a0

  • Proven ability to build demand generation programs from the ground up and connect marketing investments to pipeline, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue outcomes.a0

  • Experience influencing executives and cross-functional leaders through data, market insight, business cases, and clear recommendations.a0
