Full Job Description
What We Need

The Marketing Operations Manager is the technical engine of the marketing operations function, owning day-to-day configuration and administration of HubSpot, building and maintaining always-on workflows, managing API connections across the martech stack, and helping the marketing team put AI tools, including Claude, to practical, everyday use.

NetBrain's marketing team is building a more sophisticated GTM motion with an emphasis on automation and AI, and that motion depends on reliable systems and clean data. This role closes the gap between strategy and execution: when a workflow breaks, an integration needs to be built, or there's an opportunity to automate manual work, the Marketing Operations Manager gets in the weeds, builds the solution, and brings their own ideas back to the team.

What You'll Do

HubSpot Administration & Configuration.

Serve as the primary HubSpot administrator, owning configuration of properties, pipelines, forms, lists, workflows, and user permissions. Build, test, and maintain always-on workflows that support lead nurturing, lifecycle stage progression, and internal routing, designed to run reliably without manual oversight. Own data hygiene - deduplicating records, enforcing field standards, and keeping contact and company data accurate - and provide technical support for campaign execution (landing pages, emails, forms, lists, reporting) so the marketing team is never blocked on configuration.

Integrations & API Management.

Build and maintain API connections between HubSpot and the rest of the martech stack, including Salesforce, intent platforms, attribution tools, and enrichment vendors. Troubleshoot broken connections, resolve data inconsistencies at the source, document integration logic, and work directly with technology vendors on implementation and troubleshooting.

AI Tooling & Automation.

Help the marketing team put Claude and other AI tools to practical, repeatable use - identifying where automation reduces manual work, drafting workflow logic, and building processes around AI-assisted tasks. Proactively identify manual processes that can be automated, build the replacement workflows, document what was built and why, and test new tools and configurations before rolling them out to the team.

Reporting & Data Support.

Build and maintain HubSpot reports and dashboards that give the marketing team visibility into campaign performance, lead flow, and pipeline contribution. Handle ad hoc reporting and data requests from marketing and leadership, and document configurations and workflow designs so the systems this role builds are understandable to anyone picking them up for the first time.

What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of marketing operations experience in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Hands-on HubSpot administration experience is required - proficiency in another marketing automation platform is not a substitute. Comfortable with workflow logic, property configuration, list segmentation, pipeline management, and the HubSpot data model. HubSpot certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and troubleshoot API integrations between marketing systems, with an understanding of how data moves between platforms and what breaks when it doesn't.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable AI tools in a professional context; ready to help the marketing team adopt Claude effectively from day one.
  • Comfortable reading and working with Salesforce data as it relates to marketing operations - understands how to pull reporting without needing to be a Salesforce administrator.
  • Strong data fluency: able to build a report, read a dataset, and identify what's wrong with it.
  • Precise and detail-oriented, catching problems in workflow logic, field mapping, and API configuration before they propagate.
  • Clear, responsive communicator who can explain what's being built, flag blockers early, and move technical work toward resolution.
  • Curious and adaptable - stays current with martech and AI tooling and brings practical recommendations back to the team.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.
