The
Marketing Operations AssociateMMS is responsible for independently managing and executing tactical marketing activities associated with BD Canada. The role will work as part of a cross-functional and collaborative team that is responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy with respect to customer engagements. The marketing operations associate will gain valuable skills in developing competencies in marketing execution, communication, and business acumen. This role will focus on enhancing our brand at conferences and customer engagements, managing capital equipment logistics across the acute care and retail pharmacy space, and oversight of the MMS Customer Experience Centre ensuring high-quality customer experience and alignment with brand standards.
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing end-to-end customer engagement and conference strategies, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and measurable business outcomes supporting commercial teams with conference and demo execution and will
report to the marketing leader for the BD Medication Management Solutions business. The role contributes to the achievement of marketing performance objectives through effective planning, execution, and continuous optimization of marketing operations activities.
Job Responsibilities:Customer Engagement Execution:
- Working with Product Managers to plan and execute customer engagement activities aligned with defined marketing objectives and KPIs
- Managing local inventory in service depots to ensure efficient & timely delivery of products
- Equipment maintenance: Ensuring equipment is operational and ready for demonstration
- Ownership of booking, and preparing and testing of equipment, in the Customer Experience Centre
- Own and continuously improve Customer Experience Centre operations, including scheduling, readiness, and stakeholder coordination
Conference Planning:
- Working with Product Managers to establish and execute on conference strategies across all platforms, including tracking budget utilization and optimization
- Working with Marketing leader to manage and optimize conference budget
- Manage MMS Conference Calendar, conduct pre- and post- conference meetings with relevant stakeholders, establishing conference and event success metrics, and evaluating return on investment
- Managing lead capture and dissemination
- Ensure quality and timeliness of lead management processes to support commercial follow-up effectiveness
- Working with the conference and shipping vendors on booth and equipment logistics and set-up
- Drive vendor coordination and proactively resolve logistical challenges to ensure seamless execution.
- 15% Travel, overnight travel within Canada and the US for BD Meetings.
Education and Experience required:- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma/Certificate.
- Minimum of 1-3 years sales/marketing experience in the healthcare industry, with an understanding of the Canadian Healthcare space.
Knowledge and Skills required:- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms, including Salesforce, and their application in marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong strategic planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient team-wide processes.
- Highly adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify alternative approaches and drive successful outcomes.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment around marketing priorities.
Preferred qualifications:- Pharmacy/Pharmacist training an asset
- Experience in Pharmacy Automation an asset

The range displayed is comprised of wages, which includes base salary and commission, as well as certain components of our bonus programs. The salary offered to a successful candidate may vary based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and work location.
Salary Range Information: $60000 - $110000 CAD Annual
