Job Description

The Vaginal Health and Perinatal marketing team helps bring important diagnostic solutions to the healthcare professionals who use them to support patient care. As Marketing Manager, you'll turn clinical information, customer insights, and market trends into practical marketing strategies, clear messaging, and sales tools that help drive adoption and growth.

This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who can think strategically, execute with focus, and keep multiple partners moving in the same direction. You'll work closely with Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, agency partners, and other teams to build marketing programs that are thoughtful, compliant, and effective.

Job Expectations
  • Develop and execute downstream marketing strategies, campaigns, and programs for the Vaginal Health and Perinatal portfolio.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to deliver marketing tactics on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate clinical guidelines, product value, and market insights into clear messaging for healthcare professionals.
  • Support new product introductions through launch planning, marketing materials, sales enablement, and field readiness.
  • Create and update collateral, website content, creative briefs, proof points, competitive resources, and customer-facing tools.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative market research to identify insights and recommend updates to positioning or key messages.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs to evaluate performance and adjust commercial execution as needed.
  • Manage marketing materials through Legal, Regulatory, and compliance review processes.
  • Partner with advertising, public relations, and other agency/vendor teams to deliver high-quality marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Education and Development to create training materials, talking points, objection-handling guidance, and ongoing learning resources.

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors
  • Strong downstream marketing experience, with the ability to connect market strategy to practical execution.
  • Ability to translate clinical, scientific, or technical information into messaging that is clear, accurate, and relevant.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare customers, including healthcare professionals, laboratories, and/or consumer-facing healthcare environments.
  • Experience with market research, customer insights, competitive analysis, campaign performance, and KPI tracking.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Skilled at managing agencies, vendors, budgets, timelines, and shifting priorities without letting the wheels fall off.
  • Collaborative approach with Sales, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Product, and other commercial partners.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges, recommend solutions, and keep work moving.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a regulated healthcare environment.
  • Ethical and customer-focused, with the judgment to represent Hologic's values and challenge behaviors that do not align.

Additional Qualifications and Information
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of downstream or commercial marketing experience required.
  • Experience in medical device, diagnostics, healthcare, or a related regulated industry required.
  • Experience with campaign strategy, product launches, market research, sales enablement, and agency/vendor management strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare customer environments, including healthcare professionals, laboratories, and/or consumer healthcare markets.
  • Experience managing marketing projects through Legal, Regulatory, and compliance review processes preferred.
  • Travel required: average of 50%, approximately 10 days per month, depending on business needs.
  • Must be able to attend corporate, in-house, field-based, customer, and industry meetings as needed.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $112,500 to $176,000 and it is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
