You're comfortable concepting, building and executing integrated marketing programs that strengthen brand awareness, generate demand, support business development and sales, and create measurable business impact across multiple channels and markets. Position Overview
This position is an individual contributor role and will be based at our Seattle Headquarters, reporting to the senior marketing manager for Timberlands & Strategic Land Solutions. The role will operate under our hybrid Flexible Work Policy, which requires employees to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and allows for remote work on Monday and Friday.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Marketing strategy and execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies across various channels to increase brand awareness, generate customer demand and support growth initiatives within our Strategic Land Solutions (SLS) business, including opportunities in renewable energy, forest carbon, biocarbon, real estate development, conservation and mitigation banking, among others.
  • Business partnership: Work closely with business development, sales and other SLS teams and subject matter experts to understand their business objectives and ensure marketing activities and messaging are aligned and effective - for each business and also as part of broader enterprise strategy and messaging.
  • Content and campaign management: Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing assets, content and campaigns (digital/website, social, print) and manage promotional activities with key business stakeholders.
  • Event management: Coordinate participation in events and conferences, including messaging, exhibits, presentations and related promotional activities.
  • Thought leadership: Partner with business leaders to build thought leadership on critical industry topics through blogs, articles, speaking opportunities, media engagements and industry publications.
  • Business Development/Sales Enablement: Support SLS business development and sales professionals with marketing materials that enable successful engagement with existing and potential customers (pitch decks, demo videos, fact sheets, FAQs, etc.)
  • Vendor and budget management: Manage vendor relationships and related budgets to support complex marketing projects and programs, including working with procurement teams to conduct RFPs and ensure projects are completed on time and meet requirements.
  • Research and insights: Conduct research to inform marketing strategies and metrics; identify, test and deploy new approaches to connecting with our current and potential customer base; track performance on marketing activities campaigns; translate data into business impact and adjust strategies and tactics to improve results over time.
  • Creative and corporate marketing support: Support a variety of marketing-related projects at the corporate level, such as coordinating photo shoots, video production, presentation development and other creative projects, as needed.
  • Brand alignment: Ensure brand quality and consistency across all marketing communications and customer-facing materials.
  • Enterprise marketing engagement: Support the senior marketing manager and other members of the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team in executing the company's overall communications, marketing and reputation management strategy.
  • Relationship building: Develop and maintain close relationships with Weyerhaeuser leaders and employees throughout the company, including participation on various internal teams and cross-functional initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years of marketing experience, including significant experience creating and deploying marketing campaigns and other customer-facing promotions.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, digital and social media strategy, marketing automation, data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills that strengthen brand visibility, enhance market presence and drive audience engagement.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with designers and manage complex design projects to ensure brand consistency, stakeholder and outcome alignment, clarity and effectiveness.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations and pitch decks, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders and audiences.
  • Previous experience in forestry, natural resources, land management, environmental services, real estate or related industries is welcome but not required.
  • Integrity, initiative, authenticity, humility, humor, good judgment, drive, flexibility, curiosity and great listening skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
  • Occasional travel will be required.

Compensation

This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $98,811 - $148,217 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement:

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation

We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
