Full Job Description
The Marketing Manager for Power leads the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive growth across Warren CAT's Power and Energy business segments. This role provides leadership to a marketing team, partners closely with business unit leaders and Caterpillar, oversees budgets and strategic planning, and develops data-driven marketing programs that generate demand, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term business objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead annual marketing planning and develop strategic roadmaps aligned with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members by providing direction, performance feedback, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Partner with sales, rental, operations, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and revenue objectives.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion across the Power and Energy business.
  • Lead the development and implementation of market positioning and execution strategy through strategic marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and deliver superior customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns aligned with business unit objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize marketing budgets to align investments with strategic priorities and maximize business impact.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison with Caterpillar, collaborating on strategic initiatives, co-marketing opportunities, funding programs and best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with sales, rental, product support, marketing, and business unit leadership to ensure alignment on campaigns, initiatives, and messaging.
  • Present strategies, performance results, and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using KPIs; adjust strategies as needed to improve effectiveness.
  • Analyze customer insights, market trends, campaign performance, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy decision-making.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, meetings, and engagements with Caterpillar, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through innovation, feedback, and best practice adoption.
  • Directly supervise one or more employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years professional experience; or combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in power generation and/or energy solutions required - with experience in power rental marketing preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing and business growth strategies.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and skills of market research, content creation, social and digital media engagement, and analytics.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Base understanding of digital marketing and AI tools used in marketing.
  • Experience managing budgets and aligning spend to business priorities.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Valid drivers' license and acceptable driving record.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, as needed.
