Marketing Manager

Full time, Remote - Canadian Residence Only

Travel: Up to 20% across North America

Position Summary

As the ASPEN Marketing Manager, you will own and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for ASPEN - focused on driving pipeline growth, supporting customer expansion, and delivering measurable marketing impact. This is a highly hands-on role that offers strong visibility within the organization and an opportunity to build a marketing function within a quickly growing brand.

Job Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & New Logo Acquisition
  • Plan, own and execute lead acquisition strategies with account-based marketing (ABM) and mass marketing tactics, including target account identification, message sequencing, personalization, execution, measurement, and continuous optimization.
  • Own and coordinate presence at industry conferences (approximately 2-3 per year), including event planning, logistics, pre- and post-event campaigns, and lead follow-up alignment with Sales.
  • Manage and optimize the ASPEN website and SEO strategy in collaboration with external vendors.
  • Own and execute social media strategy, including approximately one post per week.
  • Own and execute content creation, including monthly thought leadership content.
  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing collateral such as case studies, solution overviews, and industry-specific messaging.

Customer Marketing & Expansion (Back-to-Base)
  • Plan and execute a monthly customer webinar series to drive product adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead and coordinate our customer conference, including agenda development, speaker coordination, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on expansion campaigns, adoption initiatives, and upsell programs.
  • Support go-to-market execution for new enhancements, modules, and products.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Messaging
  • Develop and refine core messaging, positioning, and value propositions.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Conduct lightweight, competitive and market analysis to inform campaign design and messaging.

Analytics, Performance & Ownership
  • Track and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, ROI, and conversion metrics.
  • Continuously optimize programs based on performance data and qualitative feedback.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of marketing initiatives, from planning through execution, measurement, and refinement

Qualifications & Experience

Required
  • 4-7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in enterprise, vertical SaaS, or complex software environments.
  • Proven ability to execute campaigns hands-on, not just manage agencies or vendors.
  • Experience with ABM, email marketing, and digital demand generation.
  • Strong collaboration with Sales and Product teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking pipeline, attribution, and campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High ownership mindset and comfort operating independently in a lean environment

Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience within a dealership or dealership industry.
  • Experience building human-in-the-loop AI processes to expedite workflows.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Experience running events, conferences, or field marketing programs.

This role is ideal for someone who:
  • Wants to own marketing end-to-end rather than a narrow functional slice.
  • Is equally comfortable setting strategy and executing campaigns.
  • Enjoys working closely with Sales and driving direct revenue impact.
  • Thrives in a high-accountability, hands-on environment.
  • Is motivated by building scalable marketing foundations within a growing business.

Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only):
The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$81,000.00 - CAD$99,000.00 per year. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change.
