Position OverviewThe Marketing Enablement Associate is responsible for facilitating GMO's daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc client reporting and sales enablement activities. This includes the coordination and review of client materials across GMO's website and other internal platforms; as well as providing input and requirements on new systems or technology enhancements.
This position, as part of the Marketing and Investment Product Strategy team, partners closely with multiple departments across GMO, including Global Client Relations, Performance, Technology, Legal & Compliance, and Treasury to meet our client's reporting needs.
The Marketing Enablement Associate role provides substantial exposure to how GMO communicates with clients and services reporting requests. Additionally, the Analyst will have exposure to GMO Products, data structures, and systems.
The Associate reports to the Marketing Enablement Manager.
Responsibilities:- Delivering standard and custom reports while adhering to specific client mandates and deadlines
- Ensuring attribution, commentary, holdings, product profiles, and other product-specific data are posted accurately and in a timely fashion to gmo.com and reporting platforms
- Active participation in systems development and user acceptance testing with GMO's technology teams
- Developing a comprehensive knowledge of the GMO external website, GMO client portal, GMO's Sales Enablement platform, and GMO product offerings
- Supporting Relationship Managers by responding to client queries, researching reporting needs, and following up on pending deliverables
- Coordinating reporting requirements for new products, tracking these deliverables, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Coordinating longer-term projects and initiatives including annual financial statements, prospectus materials, and board reporting
- Maintaining marketing data and analytics reporting
- Executing on new content builds and troubleshooting in GMO's Sales Enablement platform
- Reviewing GMO's Sales Enablement platform for efficiencies and areas of improvement
- Contributing to projects to advance the strategic objectives of GMO's Marketing and Client Services team
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of related work experience, preferably within the investment management industry
- Experience working with third-party client reporting tools (Coric experience is a plus)
- Experience working with a Sales Enablement platform (Seismic experience required)
- Experience partnering with technologists related to requirements gathering and user acceptance testing
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft tools
- SQL experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Competence and interest to learn new concepts and systems independently and quickly
- Collaborative spirit given the need to coordinate among Global Client Relations, Marketing, Investment, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and Operations Teams
- Strong willingness and aptitude for learning and navigating a broad range of proprietary systems and external web-based databases

$85,000 - $100,000 a year
This is a reasonable, good faith estimate of the current salary range for this role. GMO's salary range accounts for a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
In addition, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus award, which award may be determined by individual, team, department and firm performance, and is subject to the terms of GMO's compensation plan. This position is also benefits eligible.
